| Today was Christmas shopping day one. It proved to be very productive. I have now realized that I am the black sheep of my family. I have completely different taste, which is fine it just takes my mom that much longer to realize that what she is picking out is not cute and went out of style about 10 years ago. I love it though, getting to spend time with everyone has proved eventful but fun all the same. I think that I have missed my dad the most, he seems to understand me the best. My dad has really helped me understand the importance of letting those you care for the most go so they can live their lives. That has been the most difficult thing for me with my sister and someone else. I think it’s the hardest thing to accept when someone doesn’t feel the same way that you do. Maybe it’s not the hardest thing… but it’s pretty darn tough. Thank God I am here and really don’t have to deal with it all anymore.
On a not so sappy note I get to start the tamale making process soon! It’s always so fun to cook with my abuela she is the greatest lady in the world! I have to go to the store to pick everything up for tomorrow. Hope everyone is having a great break! | | |
| so i just finished the 6th Harry Potter book and i am so sad it was horrible (good but still). Ya i almost cried i was so upset! anyway this weekend was really fun too... all of us (the roomates) got to see the Chronicles of Narnia about a week early. It was really good everyone should go and see it! Right after that (and i mean 5 minutes after the movie) we went and saw RENT which was also very good! So basically my entire saturday was spent at the movies! When my roomates and i decide to waste our time we go all out! it was fun though and i was glad that i got to spend the day with them.
And also i would like to say thank you to kim for getting us the tickets from your f-bombs dad! and also i would strongly suggest to everyone that they never eat at Flying Burrito again bc it is not good and jenn and I both got sick after eating it!

| So my flag football team the Josters we won the championship football game!!!!! i know that really isn't a huge accomplishment but i think so since it was 20 degrees and i was freezing my booty off! But the game was great and all the girls did fantastic! Kim did awesome as the other corner! in other news we get to go see Harry Potter this weekend and cook mexican food (people think thats all i can cook apparently)! i think i am the most excited about the movie though than anything else, it is going to be amazing! i hope everyone has a fabulous week! | | |
| So this weekend was pretty fun… to bad its over! I had sushi (which was so delicious and amazing!) and saw kill bill vol. 1 (it was interesting and funny to say the least). We also took Kim to look at wedding dresses, it was so fun! She looked so great and I am ashamed to say I tears in my eyes, but it was just bc it was such a pretty dress! Jenn and I also put on some brides maids dress which were not cute, and jenn’s made her look like Cinderella or one of the Disney princesses. Emily also had her first drink which was fun…for her! I hope she thought it was fun. Now it’s Monday and the only thing I have to look forward to is a test! I hope that everyone has a great week! | | |
